Dr. Francis Normanyo (PhD, MPhil, B.A.) is a Ghanaian academic, researcher, and curriculum development expert with over 20 years of experience in higher education, research, academic leadership, and curriculum development. He has contributed significantly to teaching, the development of Religious and Moral Education (RME) and Religious Studies curricula in Ghana through his work with universities and the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA).
Dr. Normanyo earned a PhD in Religion and Human Values from the University of Cape Coast (2021), an MPhil in Religious Studies (2009), and a BA in Study of Religions and Political Science (2004), both from the University of Ghana. His academic background has equipped him with expertise in Religious Studies, Education and Curriculum Studies.
His research interests include African Christianity, Pentecostal and Charismatic movements, Religious and Moral Education, Christian Religious Studies, curriculum development, His doctoral research examined the role of Charismatic Christianity in Ghana’s democratic development, while his publications have explored the relationship between Pentecostalism and African traditional religious practices. He remains committed to advancing scholarship, curriculum innovation, and educational excellence in Ghana and beyond.
