Mr. Samuel Teye was born on the 20th September, 1972. He attended Manya Krobo Secondary School and completed in 1994. He had his Cert ‘A’ (3-Year Posec) in 1997. Mr. Samuel Teye continued his education at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) where he obtained Bachelor of Education in English in 2003. He holds MA Degree in English from UEW in 2014 and he is currently pursuing M Phil degree in English at UEW.    

Mr. Samuel Teye taught at Gambrongo L/A Prim. School, Bongo District (1997-1999), Jirapa Senior Sec. School, (2003- 2006). He has been teaching in Mount Mary College of Education since 2006 to date
