Beatrice Ahedor is an educationist, educational psychologist, and Assistant Lecturer with a strong passion for teaching, research, and the holistic development of learners. She attended Dora Memorial Senior High School in Ho, Volta Region, before pursuing higher education at the University of Education, Winneba, where she obtained a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Guidance and Counselling. She furthered her studies at the University of Cape Coast, earning a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Educational Psychology.

During and after her master’s studies, Beatrice gained valuable experience in the banking sector, serving with Barclays Bank Ghana, which later became Absa Bank Ghana. Her work in the banking industry strengthened her communication, customer relations, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

In 2021, she joined Mount Mary College of Education, Somanya, in the Eastern Region of Ghana, as an Assistant Lecturer.

Her research interests include:

  • Educational Psychology: Exploring cognitive and behavioral frameworks to improve learning outcomes.
  • Learner Motivation & Management:
    Investigating how strategic classroom management directly drives student engagement.
  • Child & Adolescent Development: Aligning instructional methods with the evolving psychological needs of young learners.
  • Teacher Education & Action Research: Using collaborative, practitioner-led action research to transform teacher training.
