Reena Efua Ametorwo
She is an assistant lecturer at the Department of Languages- English Unit. She holds BA (Theatre Arts and English) and MPhil (English Literature) degrees from the University of Ghana, Legon. She has also been at an exchange student at the Simon Fraser University, British Columbia. Reena is a member of the African Literature Association (ALA), the Ghana Studies Association, which is an international affiliate of the African Studies Association (ASA) and the Literature Association of Ghana (LiTAG). Reena has for the past five years taught courses like African Literature, Studies in Prose, Drama and Poetry, Language and Literacy amongst others and has supervised the project works of about twenty graduate students. Reena’s research interests are in the areas of Health Writing, Autobiographical studies, Ghanaian and African Literatures.
